A staffer said policy 7544 will create a district social media code, define an "authorized user", and regulates what a district employee may post when identifying as a district employee. He said it also regulates what comments can be removed from district posts

A staffer said policy 2340 requires criminal records checks for non-employee field trip chaperones at their expense. If they are found to be convicted or plead guilty to a crime designated as problematic by the district they will be barred from chaperoning.

Robinson said he will suggest that principles send out this updated policy with other back-to-school information so chaperones can get this year's background checks done early

Jackson said that this policy 2623 discusses credit recovery's effect on GPA after a presentation by a student. She acknowledged that this may be an issue the board can't control. She said that these policies are a roadblock for student success in college applications and sports
Robinson said the state requires an in person teacher to teach the credit recovery course for it to affect GPA.
