• Approved a resolution requesting that the Charter Commission consider a charter amendment adding an additional elected member to the board. This would restore the BET’s membership to seven, allowing it to have a tie breaking vote.

• Approved the BET preliminary 2025 budget and tax levy

• Received three presentations on:

  • The Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board 20-year Neighborhood Park Plan
  • The city’s debt
  • The current service level budget for 2025-2026

• Received a bond transmittal memo from the City Council, which the BET will consider approving for the future issuance of tax-exempt general obligation bonds.
